Bag of Food Tied to Him

Did you hear that noise just now?
It was a piece of my heart crashing to the floor
Rest in Peace Sweet boy...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was at the shelter when this guy came in.
FRIENDLIEST GUY ON THE PLANET!!!!
His tail was wagging and he seemed to love everyone, and seemed to want to connect with every person he saw.... Just a gentle guy. Amazingly relaxed, and well-adjusted. I imagine he was probably well loved at one time... or just has a naturally great disposition...
He was found on the streets with a bag of food tied to him.
  1. Do you know if this dog is still available? My family lives in Palmdale and they are very interested! He looks like such a sweetheart.
  3. The dog loving rescue and volunteer community is very upset about this loss...we had an adopter come forward today and when we called we heard the news..did they even give him the correct amount of time?
  5. Did they really euthanize this dog after a week?????? How could they post such a sad story and euthanize him less than a day after posting on this blog??!?! I'm literally sitting here crying as I type this. I absolutely cannot believe these people! What a horrible, horrible shelter!!!!! These dogs deserve so much better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. This blog is independent from the shelter. It was created to help highlight shelter animals available for adoption, or in need of rescue.
    Unfortunately most shelters are overcrowded and the animals have VERY little time. Unless an IP is called these animals are at risk of euthanasia. The legal hold is 6 days. However, because of the budget crisis the Governor has tried to pass a proposal to change that to 3 days.
